We believe in making products that are built to last. Part of designing our collections is creating clothing that stands the test of time, so you can enjoy your favourite styles for years to come. In order to do that before we lunch a new product we test that style for several durability attributes such as colourfastness, shrinkage, fabric strength and wear resistance. Read on to learn more about the durability of Talibri’s production.
We are proud to make clothing that is better for the planet and better for you. We hand make all of our products from rompers to pompom hats and everything in between with organic water based fabrics. Our materials are knitted in a uk mill and then printed by our local fabric printers in England, we pride ourselves on supporting British. Our fabrics are incredibly durable and fully machine washable.
We wash test our clothing 10 times to guarantee it will keep its shape and colour. We also wear test our products on our children and our reps children before they go on sale just to make sure garments stay exceptional wear after wear.
Every single item of our clothing is handmade in our South Wales studio. All seams are overlocked on our 4 thread industrial overlockers. We use three thread coverstitching for hems and top stitch around neck bands, waistbands and more as this provides extra strength as well as adding detail. Our clothing will be outgrown before it is outworn.
We are also a zero waste company, anything we can repurpose or reuse to stop it going to landfill we will. Fabric waste is almost non existent, we make reusable face wipes with our smaller pieces we can’t use for anything else and the rest goes to the nursery for arts and craft along with our empty thread cones which they love for painting. We recycle anything that can’t be reused such as damaged cardboard boxes.
Sustainable made to last fashion is our mission.
